Il razzismo può diventare parte integrante di una nazione in un tempo davvero breve, come si vede chiaramente nell'Italia di questi giorni. Perché avvenga è sufficiente una rapida diffusione dell'intolleranza attraverso la politica e i mezzi d'informazione. Pochi anni di massiccia propaganda contro gli immigrati sono bastati per far diventare  il razzismo banale e normale. E' il caso quindi di ricordare le enormi differenze tra la realtà e i pregiudizi divenuti ormai patrimonio comune.
