The fight against crime makes great strides in Italy. The police of Arcevia, in the province of Ancona, discovered the local center of illegal immigration. Thanks probably to the denunciation of some neighbous, an activity that the Italians were not able to practice well from the days of fascism and now, thanks to the security decree, it is again possible, the police have discovered two undocumented Albanian women.
The two women were living in a house with garden, owned by a woman of 83 years, which along with her son of 61 had hired the undocumented immigrants as caregivers. The two dangeous Italians were denounced for aiding and abetting illegal immigration, and if convicted will suffer confiscation of the house which will then be sold to enhance the work of repression and prevention of criminal acts of illegal immigration. The two Albanian women have been brought instead in Ancona to be expelled from Italy for ten years. Of course perhaps the two Italians would have regularized the two carertakers, but the appropriate denunciation and timely intervention of the police did not left them the time to do so.
We slip back the happy times of the 1943, when many zealous Italians denounced their Jewish countrymen to take possession of their houses. A nice atmosphere of ethnic cleansing that is essential to fight crime, who knows what else could combine an old woman and her son with two clandestine caretakers. Maybe they could set up an international drug trafficking. Now they face up to 4 years in prison.
Soon, their fate could be shared by many other Italians, largely because the government refuses hypothesis of regularization of tens of thousands of immigrants already working illegaly in our country. In the country of widespread illegality, where we have the most powerful, ferocious and unpunished mafia organizations of the world, the most corrupted politicians and criminal economic power the only true fight against crime is the one against the poors who didn't hurt anybody. This is Italy, where unwanted, clandestine and illegal, more than anything else, is Justice.
