There are countries in the world where if you are arrested even for a petty crime, or just as a suspect, you do not know if they will leave you alive. They can beat, torture and kill you and then tell your family that you've committed suicide. In those countries things like these can happen because there is no media freedom, so newspapers and televisions will not investigate to know the truth and if you are killed in prison no one will ever know.
In some countries things like these can happen because the Power will say that you were a criminal, or that "it was an accident," and all will believe, nobody will question. Things like these happen in many nations. Have happened in Iraq and Afghanistan occupied by Westerners. Happens in Iran, Burma, China, Sri Lanka.
Happens in Italy.
Aldo Bianzino was a carpenter. His crime, he had some marijuana plants in the garden. One evening the police arrested him and his wife and searched their home, as if they were two dangerous international drug traffickers. They brought them in prison and Aldo died. Why he died? Why he had severe internal injuries, broken ribs, cranial trauma and a broken liver? It's difficult that someone will have a good answer to these questions. Aldo's wife, Roberta, has fought to make people know the truth but she just died too, for a disease of the liver. Their son Rudra, 14 years, remained an orphan of both parents. Now Beppe Grillo and Jacopo Fo launched for him an online subscription, to help him survive and to pay legal fees to find out the truth about the death of his father.
Niki Aprile Gatti was a young technique. He was arrested as part of an investigation into an telephonic fraud and brought, without a clear reason, to the high security prison of Solliciano. He was willing to cooperate with investigators and answer every question, but after a few days they found him hanged during the hours of air. His mother has created a blog so that his son is not forgotten, to know the truth. She wrote to the President of the Republic, but so far nobody has answered.
Her history is very similar to that of the mothers of Manuel Eliantonio of Federico Aldrovandi, of Riccardo Rasman of Marcello Lonzi, in this country where the State can kill your son without a shred of reason, in the complete silence of regime's television and newspapers.
Those aren't the only stories of strange deaths. In the high security prison of Solliciano, where no one knows why, Niki has been found dead, there is an impressive series of suspicious deaths, including a girl of 28 years, mother of a small child, in prison for petty drug dealing. In Italian prisons in 9 years, 1365 people have died and more than one third , 501 were classified as suicides. But what we really know about these deaths, if the deaths of Manuel and Aldo were classified as "illness" and that of Niki as "suicide"? What we really know about all the prisoners who died in prison and outside didn't have a family ready to fight for them, like many immigrants? Like the Moroccan boy of twenty years died at Brindisi in a police barracks. They say that he "hung" himself, at a four feet tall window, falling on his knees.

They can say anything and do anything, because in a country where the ruling class never answer for what it does there is no law and no justice. And the Italians ignore everything, do not understand that we do not talk about dangerous criminals, but ordinary people, and tomorrow Aldo, Manuel, Niki, Federico, Riccardo and the many other unknown deaths could be one of us, here where is common to practice in silence and in secret death penalty and torture.

Vi ringrazio tanto e Uniamoci, insieme possiamo farcela a fermare queste morti!!!
