Silvio Berlusconi consensus
Our beloved Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has said that he has 75% of consensus of the Italians, more than any other head of government in the world, and if he says so, its five television stations say so and the countless newspapers which he owns or that lie low to him say so it must be true. After all why should it not be true, given that he controls 90% or more of italian media? But to the remaining 25%, that maybe will soon be 20% and then will disappear, it must be recalled why he hasn't a 100% consensus:
1) Because he is the owner of three television networks and several newspapers and when he governs is supported by at least two other public television networks and many other newspapers. Most of the other TV networks and newspapers also don't give a fierce opposition against him. It follows that the information here may not have the function of criticism and control of power that has in many other countries in the world, and that is a threat to real democracy. But only to 25% of it.

2) Because he has had and has close contacts with people convicted of Mafia as Vittorio Mangano, his former employee defined by the premier "a hero" and responsible for two murders, extortion, kidnapping and drug trafficking, and like Marcello Dell'Utri, sentenced for external aid to Mafia and yet senator in the party of the premier, in good company with some gentlemen like Massimo Maria Berruti, a former policeman sentenced to 8 months for aiding and abetting in the matter of Fininvest bribes to the Guardia di Finanza and several others investigated for various crimes. And all this does not give a guarantee of cleanliness and morality, let alone a guarantee of a serious fight against the mafias. That anyway have the consensus of 75% of the country.

3) Because his fortune as an entrepreneur came from funds of unknown origin which some collaborators of justice said came from laundering money for mafia. Allegations impossible to prove because the accounts were protected by Swiss bank secrecy, but that cast heavy shadows on the wealth of the premier. But on the other hand, the Mafia makes a lot of money and somewhere the money had to go. Furthermore, a recent survey states that only 25% of Italians would refuse to do business with the Mafia only because once in a while they kill someone.

4) Because the premier was a member of the P2 Lodge, a Masonic group judged by the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry that investigated it responsible from the political point of view of the Italicus massacre, which had the purpose of private use of civil service by its members, was able to extend credit to higher capacity of coverage to its members (referred to Silvio Berlusconi). The head of the P2 Licio Gelli was sentenced in a final appeal for diversionary manouvre in the investigation on the massacre in Bologna. The 75% of the country does not know what are these massacres and if knows don't give a damn about.

5) Because he has not censored different intolerant and racist statements made by members of his coalition against foreign nationals in italy, fostering a climate of distrust and hatred against immigrants and an increase in racist attacks, as also recently stressed  the Ilo, the International Labor Organization, accusing Italy of non-compliance to the International Convention on the protection of foreign workers. 75% of Italian have foreign employees or carers or have worked side by side with immigrants or buy fruit from the former foreigners now citizens. However, for 75% of Italians aliens must return to their homes. 75% of Italians cannot explain the difference between regular immigrant, illegal immigrant, an Italian citizen, a political refugee.

6) Because his governments have approved  various Laws ad personam aimed at saving the premier from running trials. As the recent award Alfano, whit which he could kill his wife without being tried as an absolute monarch. If I was Veronica I would be careful to make certain statements .. 75% of Italians thought that he has spoken the truth when he said that he would not have taken advantage of the Law Alfano. Instead he has just done it.

7) Because he has repeatedly taken advantage of his power over the media to remove public television comedians and journalists unliked by him, as Daniele Luttazzi, Sabina Guzzanti, Enzo Biagi, Michele Santoro. Demonstrating that he his not liberal because in liberalism is expected to leave everyone the right to speak. 75% of Italians, however, didn't give a damn about liberalism in 1789 and after more than two centuries, they still couldn't care less about it.

8) Because he continues to propose in lists of his party young women without adequate curriculum in politics or in any other profession but well equipped with regard to the physical look. But according to polls 75% of Italians, men and women, think that being beautiful is a lot better than being smart.

9) Because he was involved over the years in 10 court proceedings and 12 trials. In only 6 of these he has been acquitted. In 2 of them he was acquitted because he eliminated the crime of false accounting. In 3 cases the crime has fallen under the statute. In 2 cases the trials were extinct because an amnesty intervened. Seven cases were filed. Two are still in progress. Among the cases filed there is the one for the massacres of 92-93 in Florence, Milan and Rome. The prosecutor of Florence had entered in the register of suspects Dell'Utri Berlusconi as instigators. The pm then asked to close the investigation for lack of evidence, although "the initial hypothesis is maintained and if anything increased its plausibility." And the one of Caltanissetta, in which Berlusconi and Dell'Utri were entered in the register of suspects as instigators of the massacres of Capaci and via D'Amelio (murders of judges Falcone e Borsellino) on the basis of investigations of the judges themselves and on the basis of convergent statements of 6 different informants. 75% of Italians don't know about these things or don't want to know.

Only one of these nine points would be enough to break the career of any politician or businessman in 75% of the world, even in the countries that aren't exactly democratic. 75% of Italians don't give a damn.
We fear that 75% of Italy belongs to Mafia, well-connected, profiteers, criminals, dishonest and unscrupulous politicians.
The 25% resists and remembers, until it is extinguished.
