jaylenolastshow300509He came into the tv-study, he has difficulty stopping the applause and he has not abandoned the irony even in his last episode. Last night Jay Leno gave the farewell to the "Tonight Show" after 17 years of bars. He started the show by thanking the pop star Michael Jackson and the ex stageur Monica Lewinsky for all material that had provided in recent years.

Certainly without Monica Lewinsky would have been more difficult to make jokes about President Bill Clinton. It is certain that the Sexgate several years later is still fresh in the memory of many, more than any other action of the Democratic president. In the U.S., a President was subjected to impeachment proceedings on charges of a false declaration because he had denied having sexual relations with a young intern. Clinton in the end admitted publicly his guilt and newspapers, as well as the comic, were not soft with him at all.
The Jay Leno bar, last night, suggests the pages wasted on these days on Noemi event, with the aggravating circumstance that any kind of relationship there was with the young student, in this case there are photos, testimonials, dinners and parties that make Clinton look like a beginner.
But Jay Leno is still Jay Leno. And thanks to the crisis of the Bush presidency has been able to take advantage, often due to his biting irony was able to inform American citizens more of the same newspapers. Among the latest politicians to submit his questions there was also Barack Obama and was the first time for a President.

Many have wondered why the Nbc has decided to entrust the Tonight show with Conan O 'Brien, who has a comic totally different from Leno. The public seemed has not like this choice. So the Nbc tried to run to shelters entrusting to Leno a program in the early evening. Of course Monday night millions of Americans light up the television to see how the new showman will collect the heavy legacy. But something will be changed.
