Crime of illegal immigration in Italy. Inundated by government propaganda Italians do not realize how stupid and ineffective this part of the so-called security decree is. But anyway the equation clandestine equal criminal has already been abundantly propagated, false as it is. The typical italian clandestines in fact lost their jobs and cannot renew the residence permit, even if they had arrived in Italy regularly.
But the real goal is to have a low cost labor that you can call when needed and thrown away when no longer needed. Or even better, to make it work for a stale piece of bread under the threat of reporting. Slavery, as in Roman times. A dip back 2000 years.
About security in the omonimous decree there is no trace. The only two things to achieve it effectively, to fund law enforcement and streamline the justice, politicians have not the slightest intention of doing. And the League, that party of struggle and of government, goes against clandestines and forget that the most serious crime emergency in Italy is always the mafia. To which the illegal immigrants are so useful because mafia too need cheap labor, so much the better if criminalized.
